It’s a pretty smart choice.
I have loved making images for as long as I can remember.
Just being able to look back and know that you captured "That moment" for someone. That little twinkle in my eye (no one saw it....it was behind a lens!) made all the difference to me when it came to wanting to take up photography. I still struggle to come up with a phrase that helps encompass my passion about making sure people are happy with the images that I find with them.
Every now and again I find myself blinking my eyes as if to take a mental picture of something when I can't have a camera on hand. (it's rare that I don't, but that said, it does happen!) I think the best pictures are the ones we didn't realize we'd get or the times that we find beauty in something that we normally "pass by" every day.
I live for life! I adore new places, new things, plenty of color. New ways of seeing the old day-to-day. A friend constantly tells me "The World is my Oyster", and I constantly just try to capture those "aha! look-at-that!" moments from behind the lens.
I have always been fascinated watching people go through life. Their smiles, their laughs, their tears, the hugs, interactions of any sort. I am a "professional people watcher" in my spare time. That said, when it came to photographing them, I was relatively shy at first, I'm finding my confidence daily and continue to enjoy the 4-year-old burst of giggles, the grooms tears when he sees his bride, and the loving glance between an engaged couple. I'm here to capture those moments, I'm so happy and honored to be a part of them.
